Who Can Participate
Elementary (K-5): Groups/classrooms with an educator or community leader.
Middle School (6-8): Teams of 1–4 students + supervising adult.
High School (9-12): Teams of 1–4 students + supervising adult.
Educators: 1–3 teachers (public, private, homeschool, or DoD/overseas schools).
Tracks of Participation
Track I (Proposal): Written AI project proposal for a community problem.
Track II (Implementation): Functional AI-based solution (app, website, process, etc.).
Track III (Educators): Teaching AI concepts in innovative ways or creating AI classroom tools.
Our mentoring classes focus on helping students to create a functional AI based solution. The first couple of sessions will focus on coming up with an idea and defining key features. The remaining sessions will focus on building the solution. For best use of class time, we recommend students spend as much time as possible in between sessions to build the project, and use class time to work with teachers on any issues they might have and/or brainstorming new features. We are here to support you!
If you would like to build your projects using a platform other than Python or you are in grades K-4, we can arrange private classes for you. Contact us at support@createandlearn.us.
