How to take a class

  • What do I need for a free introduction class?

    All of our classes are held over Zoom, so we always recommend downloading Zoom and getting familiar with the app prior to class. You can download Zoom here:

    Check your class confirmation email to find out any other software you need to get set up ahead of time. Our teachers will guide the students through everything else! (Be sure to move the email into your “Primary” inbox folder so that you see all your future class emails.)

  • How do I reschedule a class session?

    The easiest way to reschedule a session is to go to Sign in, if not already. Select the session you would like to reschedule and then pick a new session to move to.

  • Where can I find the Zoom link to join my class?

    You can always find Zoom links and class schedules on your account at

    Just select the class, and the information will be there!

    Even though we send reminder emails, please always try to use the Zoom link found from your account just for safe measure. This minimizes the risk of Zoom issues.

  • Where can I find my class schedule?

  • I didn't receive my class confirmation email. What should I do?

    Sometimes our emails end up in the spam/junk folder, so if you haven't received a confirmation email from us, you can also double-check there.

    If you still cannot find the confirmation email, you can always check your account to find class information, such as the class schedule, the Zoom link, and the classroom.

  • I can't get into my Zoom meeting, what should I do?

    There are a lot of things that could be happening if you can't get into the Zoom for class. Sometimes Zoom can be glitchy, or having issues, sometimes it's something on our end, or something on your end.

    Here are a few general troubleshooting tips:

    1. First things first, make sure your Zoom app is downloaded onto your computer, and you have popups enabled.
      If you're unable to download the Zoom app, and are in your browser, also make sure you have pop-ups enabled.
    2. Double-check that you have the right class Zoom ID.

    3. Restart your Zoom app if you get a message stating "Waiting for Meeting to Start" or "Meeting in Progress".
  • Where can I find the password for the class?

    The password is encrypted in the login link (which you will be emailed prior to class), so you shouldn't need to use it.

    However, if you do end up being prompted for the password, you can always find this on your account at

    Just select the class you are looking for and the login information will be there.

  • Where do I find my Certificate of Achievement?

    We offer Certificates of Achievement for students, but you need to opt-in to receive them. To opt-on for certificates:

    1. Login to your account in :
    2. Look for the specific class/level
    3. Click on the button to request for the certificate

    We also send out an email asking this, so if you select "Yes" to that email, you are all set!

  • How can I edit the name on my account?

    Update your account details like name, email address, phone number or address, anytime by following these steps:

    1. Login to your Create & Learn account
    2. Select Settings from the menu bar.
    3. Update the field you'd like to change.
    4. After you've added the updated details, click Save.
    5. You will receive an email from us to verify the changes.
  • How can I change the email address on my account?

    1. Login to your Create & Learn account
    2. Select Settings from the menu bar.
    3. Enter a new email address.
  • How can I get into my account, I've forgotten my password?

    In case you have forgotten your password, click on the forgot password button and follow the instructions there.

    Note: Once you verify the updated email details, you can resume your activities on your account

  • How can I add another student to my account?

    1. Log into your account at
    2. In the upper left hand sidebar, you will see a button that says "Add a Student."
    3. Follow the instructions and please enter all information (name, birth year, and gender).
    4. Hit "Submit" and you are all set to sign them up for classes!

Class payment questions

  • Do you have a referral program?

    Yes! For every new referral, both you and your friend will receive up to $20 that can be used for any classes!

    1. $5 in credit after a friend completes an introductory class
    2. $15 in credit when a friend enrolls a paid class
    3. And, your friends get $20 toward their first paid class

    Go to to learn more! There will be a referral link that you can forward to your friend. Restrictions apply. Referring yourself or same-household family members is not allowed.

  • Is there a sibling discount?

    We don't offer a sibling discount since we already offer different discounts for all of our classes, all of which are great deals! We pay our awesome teachers well for the great work they do, so I hope you can understand.

    However, we do have a referral program where you and a friend can receive up to $20 in credits towards future classes! Here is more information about this:

  • How much do classes cost?

    All of our classes cost a flat fee. You can see how much each class costs on its specific page.

    Most of our classes are $105 per unit. Each unit is made up of 4 sessions that are nearly an hour long. Many of our class programs have three units (thus 12 sessions). You can save a little extra if you purchase all of the class program units together! Our curriculums are designed by experts in their fields to maximize learning within the best timeframe.

  • What if my child doesn't like the class?

    We can definitely help with this because we offer a full satisfaction guarantee! If, after the first session, you and your child realize a class isn't a good fit, please email for help.

    We will help move your child to the right class, at no additional cost, or issue a refund if nothing else is a good fit.

  • What is the class structure?

    Most of our class programs (e.x. Scratch Ninja) consist of multiple class units that students can progressively advance through (e.x. Scratch Ninja 1, Scratch Ninja 2, etc), and each unit has about four individual sessions (nearly one-hour Zoom sessions).

    We also have many scheduling options to accommodate the different needs of all of our students' schedules!

    • Weekly: Meets once a week for four weeks.
    • Bi-Weekly Camp: Meets twice a week for two weeks. (Only available at certain times of the year, or by private class request.)
    • Daily Camp: Meets four times a week for one week. (Only available at certain times of the year, or by private class request.)
  • Can I be in a specific teacher’s class?

    If you have a teacher preference for a class, depending on their availability and your preferred schedule, you can definitely join their class!
