This semi-private class (just 3 students max) is for students who have not had any experience with Unity before. Most of time is spent on helping students to install and activate the Unity software. Unity is free. Students will also finish a self-paced tutorial to create a simple interactive experience and get a feel of what working with Unity is like. Our experienced teacher will help you through the process, do demos, and answer questions that you might have. It covers the same content as this intro class and will help you prepare for the full course.

Join this fun free intro class to get a taste of what creating Roblox games is like, and start learning Roblox coding! This class is designed for students who have not had any prior experience with Roblox Studio, the official tool for building Roblox games. We help students install and activate Roblox Studio, and go through a step-by-step tutorial to build an interactive Obby game with different shapes, colors, and materials!Due to the popularity of this free class, there might be more than five students per intro class. Please note that the full course has a cap at five students maximum to ensure ample attention is provided to each student.

Part 3 covers a good amount of advanced Python coding for kids. Students will be introduced to object-oriented programming, and learn how to use Python classes and objects to complete more complex games and applications.

In this first part of our Python coding course, we start to learn core concepts of Python syntax, loops, data types, variables, and a lot more. We will build a smooth transition for kids to up-level from block coding such as Scratch, to Python's text-based coding. Students will learn fundamental Python skills as they build creative stories, animations, and games. Basic topics will include using Python syntax, variables, loops, functions, and built-in data structures.

In this free Scratch coding class, your child will learn how to use Scratch, practice core coding concepts, and build an impressive project in just under an hour. It's great for both middle schoolers and high schoolers. You'll see their confidence and interest in coding soar!

Accelerated Scratch - Intro to Coding for Teens

In Part 2 of our Scratch course, your student will be challenged to be creative and embark on an exciting journey - creating a cool interactive game with bouncing balls, conquering a wizard tag game, building animations, and even navigating and customizing a jungle adventure, all aligned with their unique interests. Amidst the thrill, your student will learn important coding concepts such as variables and more advanced usage of conditionals, events, cloning, and sensing. With each session unveiling fresh and thrilling projects, your child's coding journey will be as exciting as it is enriching.

Scratch Ninja 2 - Creative Games

Part 4 of this Scratch coding course covers the most advanced programming concepts that Scratch has to offer such as list/array, defining your own blocks (functions), and enabling complex game/project features via messaging and cloning. We continue the cadence of the one fun project per session, even though projects become more complex. Class time focuses on learning new advanced coding concepts as well as building out key components of the projects. In order to complete each project, students will typically need to spend about an hour after each session to finish all the features.Part 4 and 5 classes are 70mins per session.

Scratch Ninja 4 - It is Showtime!

In this free Python coding class, students will take their first dive into coding with Python. We will transition from block coding, which they learned in Scratch, to text-based coding. Students will learn how to animate and draw with Python, and will build their own story project to create a cool animation. Like all of our small group classes, this online Python for kids class is led by an experienced teacher. Join us, learn, and have fun!
