Minecraft Redstone Engineering Class

Join this free, live virtual event to start creating with one of the most powerful elements in Minecraft - Redstone. Through a series of fun activities and puzzle-solving, students will be introduced to how different power sources such as Redstone blocks, torches, and switches can be used to power blocks around them in different ways. These skills will form the foundation of creating more advanced structures that can be powered up or automated. The same event is run once every month.

Notes:

• This free event is not required for taking Minecraft Redstone Engineering or Minecraft Coding Quest classes.

• Free events will likely have a lot more students than our regular classes, which at capped by 3-5 students per class.

Join this fun class to build all sorts of amazing machines in your game and learn about circuits, how computers work, as well as engineering! We will cover pretty much all items that can interact with or be controlled by redstone, for example

• RedStone basics, lights, switches

• Torches as power sources, repeaters, circuits (parallel and series)

• Automated doors, fireworks, pressure plates

• Observer blocks, sensors

• And more!
