Like many engineers I know, my original passion for the creative sciences stemmed from legos, K'nex, and essentially any kind of building kit I could get my hands on. I'd spend hours building huge projects which ate up the entire living room. I had a very similar experience my first computer science class in my undergraduate engineering program. With a few straightforward commands and some delicately-planned logic, I could make my computer do anything - crack a code, play a game, or even generate never before discovered chemical compounds. A whole world had just opened up in front of me, and I couldn't wait to explore. I'm here to help you discover this world, too. As an engineer and educator with several years of experience in both disciplines, I can both teach coding and contextualize it.
