<h3>How to use the Python Skill Builder</h3>
<p>Each page has a new project for you to code and the project maps to one of our Python for AI sessions. You will see a Trinket Window on the right hand side of the screen. You can code directly in that window just like how you do it on the <a href="https://trinket.io/">Trinket.io</a> web site. </p>
<p>As shown in the gif below, type your code in the window, click Run ► button to run, click the pen icon to edit the code. Click on the right arrow on the top right to sign in to Trinket website, if not already, so you can save your project. </p>

<p>Draw a ninja stick figure like the one below. </p>


<h3>Step 1: Draw head and arms</h3>
<p>Consider using the following methods:</p>
<p>turtle.penup()
turtle.pendown()
turtle.goto(x,y)
turtle.circle(r)
turtle.forward(x)
turtle.left(x)
turtle.right(x)</p>
<p><strong>Hint</strong>: </p>
<ul>
<li>Remember you need to import turtle module first before using it.  </li>
<li>forward (-20) move turtle to the opposite direction of forward (20). This might be an easier way to move your turtle back to where it was than using goto().</li>
</ul>


<h3>Step 2: Draw body and legs</h3>
<p>The idea is very similar to above. Use goto(x, y) to move turtle to the right spot before drawing the body. You might need to consider moving the starting point of the whole stick figure up, if you need more space for legs at the bottom. </p>


<h3>Step 3: Adjust color and line thickness.</h3>
<p>Adjust your stick figure using turtle.pensize() and turtle.pencolor( ). </p>

<p>Create a music recommender program, like the one shown below, that asks the user what mood they&#39;re in or what activity they&#39;re doing, such as studying, exercising, or relaxing. Suggest a song or genre of music based on their input. </p>


<h2>Step 1: Get the user&#39;s input</h2>
<p>✅ <strong>Do This:</strong> First, ask the user what activity they are doing right now -- studying, exercising, or relaxing.</p>

<li>Import the <code>turtle</code> module.</li>
<li>Create three turtles, each with a different color. For example, the code below will create a turtle, set its color, and make sure it does not draw as it moves:</li>

<li>The turtles must not overlap. You can use <code>goto()</code> to send a turtle to a specific location. For example:</li>
</ul>

<li>Try sending the turtles to the following locations:<ul>

<h3><strong>Step 2 - Setting Up the Finish Line</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Goal</strong>: Create the finish line. </p>
<p><strong>Hints</strong>:</p>

<li>Another turtle needs to be created for the finish line.</li>
<li>The line is a vertical post drawn by the extra turtle.</li>
<li>The line should be start at <code>(100, 80)</code> and go to <code>(100, -80)</code></li>
<li>This means that <code>x=100</code> is the finish line!</li>
<li>Don&#39;t forget to use <code>penup()</code> and <code>pendown()</code>.</li>
</ul>


<h3><strong>Step 3 - Run Turtles, Run!</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Goal</strong>: Make the turtles move a random amount when the user hits <code>Enter</code>.</p>
<p><strong>Hints</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ask the user to press <code>Enter</code> to move the turtles using <code>input()</code></li>
<li>Each turtle should move a random amount. Generate random numbers using <code>random.randint()</code>. Try numbers between 10 and 40.</li>
<li>A turtle can move with the <code>forward()</code> method. For example, to move a turtle 20 steps we could do:</li>
</ul>


<h3><strong>Step 4 - Check who won!</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Goal</strong>: Check if any turtle has reached the finish line and if so, determine the winner!</p>
<p><strong>Hints</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Get the <code>x</code> coordinate of each turtle. To get the coordinate you can use:</li>
</ul>


<ul>
<li>If any of the turtles are past the <code>x=100</code> position (the finish line), then we have a winner!</li>
<li>Determine the winner by checking which one of the turtles was the one to cross the finish line.</li>
</ul>


<h3><strong>Step 5 - Game Loop</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Goal</strong>: Chances are no turtle won on the first round, so we must keep the turtles moving until there is a winner.</p>
<p><strong>Hints</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Use a <code>while</code> loop to repeat the process created in Steps #3 and #4.</li>
<li>You may use <code>break</code> to stop the loop at any point.</li>
</ul>

But be careful, if you go over 10.5, you&#39;ll bust and lose the game!</p>

As illustrated below, a number card represents points that equal to the face value of the card, while a Jack, Queen, King, and Joker card is worth 0.5 each. For instance, if you draw a 5, a 3, and a Queen, then your cards are worth 8.5 points total. </p>


<p>In each round, decide wisely whether to draw another card or stop to avoid busting (losing). Feeling confident? Say &quot;yes&quot; to draw a card. Want to play it safe? Say &quot;no&quot; to pass. After you and bot both stop, compare the points. Whoever has points that are closest to 10.5 without going over wins!</p>

<p>In this step, you&#39;ll create two empty lists to represent the hands of the user and the bot. Additionally, initialize two variables to keep track of the total point of the player and bot respectively.</p>
<p><strong>Goal:</strong> Initialize lists for both the player and the bot’s hand along with variables for their points.</p>

<h3><strong>Step 2 - Create a Function  to Draw a Single Card</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Goal:</strong> Define a  function to draw a single card and return the value as well as the point  that the card represents. </p>
<p>Please note that in Python a function can return multiple values.  For instance, 
card_value, card_point = draw_card() 
assigns card_value and card_point to be the two returned values from function draw_card() respectively. <a href="https://pythonbasics.org/multiple-return/">Read this article </a>to learn how it can be done. </p>
<p><strong>Hints:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Create a deck list with 14 elements representing the cards as shown in the picture above</li>
<li>Your draw card function randomly selects a card from the deck list and return the card and its game point. <ul>
<li>A numeric card is worth its face value. An Ace is worth 1 point. A Joker, Queen, or King is worth 0.5 points.</li>
<li>User random.choice() to draw a random card</li>

<li>If you are using strings to represent the card, you can check if the card is a numeric one using <code>.isdigit()</code>. For example:</li>

<p>In this part, we&#39;ll implement the user’s move. This will include prompting the user to draw a card or not and updating the scores accordingly, if a new card is drawn. </p>

<li>Prompt the user to draw a card or not using <code>input()</code></li>
<li>If the user drew a card, add the card value returned from draw_card() function to their hand list using the <code>append()</code> method.</li>

<li>If the user’s score is greater than 10.5, then the user busted and the winner is the bot.</li>

<h3><strong>Step 4 - Bot’s Move</strong></h3>
<p>In this part, we&#39;ll implement the bot’s move. Similar to the player, once bot draws a card, we will update bot&#39;s hand and its score/point accordingly.</p>
<p><strong>Goal:</strong> Implement a single turn for the bot.</p>
<p><strong>Hints:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The bot draws a random card. </li>
<li>Add the card to the bot’s hand and calculate the bot’s score.</li>
<li>If the bot’s score is greater than 10.5, then the bot busted and the winner is the user.</li>
<li>If bot&#39;s current score is equal or higher than 8 (or choose a number you prefer), the bot can decide to stop drawing cards.</li>
</ul>


<h3><strong>Step 5 - Game Loop</strong></h3>
<p>In this part, we&#39;ll wrap the code from Steps 3 and 4 inside a <code>while</code> loop to create the main game loop. This loop will continue until a player busts or both players decide to stop drawing cards.</p>

<li>Use a <code>while</code> loop with a condition to keep the loop running until a player busts or both players decide not to draw more cards.</li>
<li>You may also use a <code>while True</code> loop and decide when to stop the loop with <code>break</code>.</li>

<p>In this step, you&#39;ll determine the winner of the game based on the final scores of both players. Compare the scores and declare the winner.</p>

<li>If a player busted earlier, report who the winner is.</li>
