Ever since I was young, I have had a love of math.

In high school, I was so passionate about mathematics that I registered to become a "peer tutor," and got to help my fellow classmates master the subject that I enjoyed to much. In those years of tutoring though, while my friends were learning math from me, I was becoming a better teacher.

One of the most important things I learned in those years is that all students learn differently and at different speeds.

I gained invaluable experience explaining things in a way that really makes sense, and adjusting it based on the learning style.

And I worked with students across the spectrum -- from those just trying to pass the class to those students that were already 2 years ahead in math and striving to ace the AP test.

More than anything though, I learned that I love to teach, and love to see other students succeed. Teaching mathematics is at the crossroads of some of my greatest skills, and I love to do anything I can to share this with the world.
