Boone Builds

Boone's Build Camp uses LEGO to foster students' own creativity and imagination! In this introduction course, participants will be led through a creative process to imagine, design, and build their own unique LEGO creations through six days of video content. Students can engage this content on their own schedule, since none of the experiences are live. We intend for students to use what they learn in the video content to spend the majority of their camp time building and being creative off-screen. This can be anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours, depending on the student. Each participant will be able to submit daily creations to Boone and receive written feedback.

This three-day camp experience, uses LEGO to foster students imaginations around building Characters, Creatures, and Castles. While it can be helpful for students to have completed Boone's Build Camp prior to this experience, it is not necessary. Participants will be led through the creative process of imagining a unique LEGO character, learning skills for building one of a kind creatures, and tying these together in a setting that tells their own imaginative story through LEGO. Students can complete the video content on their own schedule, as none of the sessions are live. Time spent building and creating outside of the video content can be anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours depending on the student. Pictures of their creations can be submitted to Boone each day, and students will receive personalized, written feedback.

In this camp, students will explore using their own creativity to design a unique LEGO space theme! Through three days of video content, participants will be led through a creative process to encourage their own design of a LEGO rover, robot or mech, and spaceships. While it can be helpful for students to complete Boone's Build Camp prior to this experience, it is not necessary. All three sessions can be completed on students' own timeline, as none of the sessions are live. Time spent building and creating outside of the video content can be anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours depending on the builder. Students can submit pictures of their creations to Boone each day and receive personalized, written feedback.
