2023 is just a few days away! Let’s finish up 2022 and welcome the New Year in a big way. Don't forget to join our fun winter camps to learn coding, robotics, apps development, and more. They are filling up very quickly.

1. Free NASA event
How Did I Rescue NASA Spacecraft Far Away: Does your child want to know what it's like to control a NASA spacecraft more than a million times farther than the space station? Meet Dr. Marc, the leader of many NASA interplanetary missions, to hear his exciting story in space! In this free kids event, your child will learn how Dr. Marc handled incredible obstacles to rescue the NASA spacecraft. Discover all about Dr. Marc's Dawn Mission to explore dwarf planet Ceres and asteroid Vesta. Enjoy a hands-on activities to learn space concepts guided by NASA expert. And find out what is it like to work at NASA and what are the opportunities to explore space for students.

2. Create Your Coding Project Portfolio with Image, GIF, and Video!
Does your child enjoy coding and creating? Start having him/her build a project portfolio so they have their work over the years nicely collected. How wonderful it would be to see these creations years later. Many great schools love to see how students have built their skills as well. You can see highlights of some of our students projects on our site. Join this free event so your child can learn how start a portfolio and upload projects in Scratch, Python, Minecraft, or any other programs. Your child can also see other students' work and get inspired! In this event, kids will also learn how to create images, GIFs, and videos using Canva - a powerful free digital design tool - for your project covers. 3. Free intro kids coding classes
We offer free intro classes on fun subjects this coming week from Scratch to Minecraft coding and Python. Our teachers have years of experience teaching kids programming and keeping them engaged. From the beginning we use project-based learning to inspire creativity and show kids how powerful computer science is. In our classes, we encourage students to use their imagination and customize their programs!

4. Coding fair for kids online
Check out fun projects by others and showcase your holiday themed projects if you like. Join this virtual coding fair, and get inspiration from advanced students who use their favorite coding tools to create animations, games, or apps of their own stories. After the event, you will find your child more motivated to create with coding!

5. Make a holiday card with Canva
Create a New Year’s card for your families and friends! Canva is a very powerful tool. You can make beautiful designs and even animations with it quickly.
