In this free Python coding class, students will take their first dive into coding with Python. We will transition from block coding, which they learned in Scratch, to text-based coding. Students will learn how to animate and draw with Python, and will build their own story project to create a cool animation. Free Intro to Python Coding

This semi-private class (just 3 students max) is for students who have not had any experience with Unity before. Most of time is spent on helping students to install and activate the Unity software. Unity is free. Students will also finish a self-paced tutorial to create a simple interactive experience and get a feel of what working with Unity is like. Our experienced teacher will help you through the process, do demos, and answer questions that you might have. Instead of taking this class, you can also go through our <a target="_blank" href="https://www.create-learn.us/quickstart/unity-intro?utm_source=site&amp;utm_campaign=unity_0">free self-guided Unity Intro Tutorial</a>. It covers the same content as this intro class and will help you prepare for the full course.

In the final part for this class we will focus on building two multi-faceted games that combine previous Roblox coding skills learned with new concepts like messaging. One of the games is modeled after the highly popular infinity run game where players must turn, dodge, and jump to avoid obstacles and gain points. Students will also learn how to create quiz games about any topic they're interested in to showcase their knowledge on what they're passionate about. Circuit Intro for Kids

In this first part of our Python coding course, we start to learn core concepts of Python syntax, loops, data types, variables, and a lot more. We will build a smooth transition for kids to up-level from block coding such as Scratch, to Python's text-based coding. Students will learn fundamental Python skills as they build creative stories, animations, and games. Basic topics will include using Python syntax, variables, loops, functions, and built-in data structures.

Python for AI - 1

Part 3 of this Scratch class for kids ensures students get lots of practice with and master key coding concepts all while making awesome projects. We will also learn some of the coolest capabilities of Scratch such as using a camera to do an AR game, text to speech, and creating AI music. Your child’s confidence will build as they even unleash their creativity to tell stories, solve puzzles, and explore different places.
