Intermediate Game Building Club

Part 3 of this Scratch class for kids ensures students get lots of practice with and master key coding concepts all while making awesome projects. We will also learn some of the coolest capabilities of Scratch such as using a camera to do an AR game, text to speech, and creating AI music. Your child’s confidence will build as they even unleash their creativity to tell stories, solve puzzles, and explore different places.

In this second unit, students will practice navigating robots through even more complicated virtual worlds full of obstacles by making use of sensors. Moreover, students will learn how to make robots transport objects and see how these topics are important in real-world scenarios!

In part 2 of our Python coding course, students will begin using Python for AI and data science. We will explore more advanced programing elements of Python such as dictionaries and files, and learn how to employ Python’s powerful modules to build games, stories, and real-world data projects.

The learning and fun continue with part 3 of this Roblox coding class. We will move one big notch up to build two more fun games. You will learn how to create a little economy in your game by collecting goodies off a conveyor belt, earning coins, and exchanging for droppers and treasures. We will also learn how to build multiplayer games where players interact with in-game characters with some simple intelligence. We will cover advanced coding concepts such as tables, and fairly complex use of variables and functions.

Build your very first mobile app in this fun-filled introduction class and open up a brand new world of possibilities for your child in learning computer science. Students will start learning how to design the layout of mobile apps and code the active components to build a riddle game with live instruction. Intro to Building Mobile Apps

In Part 2 of our Scratch course, your student will be challenged to be creative and embark on an exciting journey - creating a cool interactive game with bouncing balls, conquering a wizard tag game, building animations, and even navigating and customizing a jungle adventure, all aligned with their unique interests. Amidst the thrill, your student will learn important coding concepts such as variables and more advanced usage of conditionals, events, cloning, and sensing. With each session unveiling fresh and thrilling projects, your child's coding journey will be as exciting as it is enriching.
